In the Netherlands, more than 1 million people live below the poverty line. They do not have enough money to cook a full meal every day. Above this, because of the corona crisis, a growing number of people come into acute financial need. At the same time, the pandemic has consequences for the entrepreneur in healthy, fair and local food as well. That\u2019s why Active Health Foundation supported an initiative that connects these two  issues with a circular, financial support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

December 2020, 1.000 clients of the Foodbank Arnhem<\/a> received a voucher that gave the opportunity to pick up a healthy (Christmas)meal on a moment of their choice. The meal was prepared with organic, local ingredients (as much as possible) in a local restaurant.
